I know how it feels when you are not satisfied with your job.
I spent a long time doing jobs that i hate until i realized that i was ruining my life that way.
The main reason most people who are not satisfied with their jobs never take an action is because of the fear that they develop as a result of two things 1) Not being sure about the next step and 2) The brainwashing that happens to them by others. (see How your friends influence you)

When someone tells me that he is not satisfied with his job i usually tell him the following story:
There were two neighbors who lived right beside each other. The first one had a cat that keeps moaning in a strange way each day in the same time. When the second one asked the first why the cat moans that way in the same time of the day? the first answered: I have a rocking chair that i sit on each day at that time and whenever i swing back a small nail hurts the cat's tail.
The second asked: why don't the cat leave then if its not satisfied?
The first answered: Because the nail hurts, but not enough to let it move!!
This story resembles everyone who is not satisfied with his job and who never dares to take any action. He feels really bad each morning on his way to work, he hates his job so much yet it doesn't hurt him enough to motivate him to change things.
If you are not satisfied with your job then you should start working on a backup plan that allows you to leave that job as fast as you can.

The best thing you can ever do to yourself if you don't like your job or not satisfied with it is to start something else alongside it and when that thing takes off you should leave.
