What is Postpartum depression

The majority of women experience some mood disturbances just after giving birth. These are normal mood disturbances that soon disappear on their own but around 10% to 20% of women tend to develop some kind of depression called postpartum depression.

Postpartum depression is special type of depression that occurs after giving birth. Its symptoms is almost the same as normal depression symptoms like feeling down, having sleeping problems, gaining or losing weight or even getting suicidal thoughts.
