The subconscious mind is very powerful in many ways. But if that power was left uncontrolled then it might not just be useless but it can actually work against you. From my experience i can confidently tell that most of the psychological disorders people experience result from the fact that their own subconscious minds are working against them.
Probably you have concluded from this introduction that the subconscious mind can be controlled and yes you are right. The subconscious mind can be manually controlled if the right steps were taken.
Many people mistakenly try to control their subconscious minds by consciously forcing themselves to do certain things only to find themselves failing. For example a person might consciously decided to be fearless when he speaks in public but as soon as this person tries to speak publicly his subconscious mind takes over and he experiences intense fear.
Yes the subconscious mind can be controlled but not by conscious decisions nor will power. The subconscious mind can be controlled through understanding and proper communication. Let's see how can this happen.
So how can the subconscious mind be controlled?
The first step in controlling the subconscious mind is understanding its intentions. In most cases a person engages in a behaviour that he doesn't like because there is a conflict in intentions between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. See what are the subconscious goals.
While the conscious mind might want to do something the subconscious mind might want to achieve a totally different goal. A teen might want to stop smoking because it's not healthy but his subconscious mind might want him to get accepted by the rest of his group. If that teen didn't understand the intentions of his subconscious mind then he would hardly manage to stop smoking.
This is why the first and the most important step needed here is understanding oneself perfectly. Next comes the second phase which is communication. Once you manage to understand your subconscious mind's intentions you need to communicate with it to convince it with your point of view.

I won't go through that process again as i already explained it in the other articles. Now if you managed to convince your subconscious mind to believe in your point of view it won't just follow you but it will empower you to reach those goals in an easier way.
So can the subconscious minds of other people be controlled?
Yes and the first step would remain the same. you will first have to understand that person's mind and background perfectly before you can proceed.
Next you need to provide that person's subconscious with what its looking for in order to motivate it. Here is a simple example. If you realized that a woman loved her father so much then you can send subtle signals to her unconscious mind to show her that you are like her father. I have explained how this can be done in my article about rapport establishment.
In such a case that woman's subconscious mind will get attached to you without consciously realizing what's going on. What you just did here is that you sent some signals that only her subconscious mind understood and as a result managed to take control of it.
